The brief came in from our paid advertising team, it was simple, just update the logo on a set of paid social hotel feed templates, but once I reviewed the existing set I suggested that we could do better.
I started from scratch, designing templates that would give each pice of information pride of place and hero the hotel imagery, whilst sticking to the platform clear space guides and painting brand look and feel.

Outcome
Clearer communication
These ads pull various pieces of information from a feed, the image, hotel name and star rating. By giving each of those elements their own space to breath created a much cleaner and clearer ad that made it easier to absorb compared to the existing template.
Going beyond
The new design was well received by the digital team, so much so it was taken away and only adapted slightly to then be rolled out to the main TUI advertising platform too.
