The UK’s largest ski travel operator required a striking, eye-catching and durable uniform collection.

A vrey rare opportunity came around, it was time to retire the then Crystal Ski Holidays staff uniform and replace with a completely new design, built with our own dedicated fabrics and factories, and working with the TUI Corporate Wear Designer.

We began with lengthy research and feedback sessions with past overseas staff to see the positives and negatives from the previous uniform.Rounds of sketching and digital colour mockups followed, before embarking on an extensive and highly detailed technical specification for each garment in the collection.

Scope

  • Branding
  • Clothing design
  • Development & production

Outcome

Different fits for different folks

The full collection featured multiple first layers, such as t-shirts and polo shirts, an insulated jacket, a shell jacket, both an insulated ski trouser and casual trouser, as well as hats, gloves and other accessories. All designed with specific male and female cuts.

The devil’s in the details

To really bring the Crystal brand out in the collection we used more of the colour palette in the smaller details and hardware, such as branded labels, zipper pulls and name cards or badges.
The Crystal logos are a major sign-post for the brand and for customers to see, a heavy-duty screen print was used to keep them bright, prominent and survive the rigours of resort life.
